Anna Rijkens is a Visual Artist & owner of The Yoga Office, located in Groningen, The Netherlands. In her work she looks for a meditative state in the process of making, and aims to bring this calm to the observer. She searches for the creation of spaces that bring you to the present moment and make you aware of your physical, mental and emotional self. She does this by applying principles from gestalt psychology and using (hidden) stuctures to create dream-like environments. Her work as an artist and yoga teacher are inseperable. One influences the other and creates her unique imagery.
